Does Acupuncture work? Yes
While most of us are familiar with the use of acupuncture for pain control; acupuncture and Oriental medicine also treat a wide variety of other conditions effectively.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments needed varies according to the individual and the condition. Usually one or two treatments per week are recommended. Chronic illness may require treatment for several weeks or longer. Acute problems generally respond rapidly.
Many conditions can be alleviated rapidly by acupuncture and herbs. However, some chronic, long-standing conditions may require time and steady progress. As in any form of medical care, attitude, diet, determination, and lifestyle will affect the outcome of a course of treatment
Is Acupuncture painful?
Acupuncture needles are sterile, disposable, and very fine needles (about the size of human hair). There should be little or no discomfort with needle insertion.
What is Acupuncture like?
The first visit is one and a half hours, and return visits are from thirty minutes to one hour depending on kind of therapy used.
